Our Mission, Our Values:
Empathy, Advocacy, and Action. Our Mission to Support Families.

Mission

Our mission is to create a supportive and inclusive community for anyone who is navigating the complex challenges that come with premature birth of a child and necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC). We are committed to providing a trusted space where families can access emotional support, resources, and education to better understand and cope with the challenges of NEC. By fostering empathy and collaboration, we aim to break down the barriers that often isolate families, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and empowered to make informed decisions for their children’s care and their own well-being. Through education, awareness, and partnership with healthcare providers, we strive to create a stronger network of support that advocates for the needs of both parents and children, helping them thrive in the face of adversity.

We know that motherhood in and of itself is hard enough. Facing the challenges associated with NEC shouldn’t be something you fight alone. We are here to connect those affected and build a sense of community.

Together, we can build a space to ensure families have the resources and knowledge to prevent necrotizing enterocolitis from affecting more infants.

Values

Rooted in empathy, empowerment, inclusivity, and collaboration, we are dedicated to providing a trusted, supportive space for mothers, fathers, and loved ones seeking guidance and connection.
